Is personalised skincare for me?
Every formula is tailored – so our dermatology team will design your treatment with the right ingredients, and the right strength right for your unique needs. If there’s something you want to improve about your skin’s health or appearance, personalised skincare can make a real difference. Your formula will be made with science-backed active ingredients at strength that can only be prescribed by a certified dermatology professional. And it’s for sensitive skin too, because we use effective yet gentle ingredients, carefully considered to minimise reactions.
-
When will I see the results?
As everyone’s skin is different, the results vary too. Most people start seeing a change at around 6 to 12 weeks while others can see it earlier, with significant improvements over time. So, it’s important you apply your Dermatica formula every night, follow a simple skincare routine and wear sunscreen in the day (SPF 30 or above). Your skin journey may be different from others, so we regularly track your progress with free follow-ups and can adapt your formula, if needed. Personalised skincare takes persistence and patience. But, unlike the ‘miracle’ promises and unverified claims of many cosmetics products, what you’ll get is effective, long lasting results. Your personalised formula is made with powerful ingredients that transform your skin.

Who creates my personalised formula?
Everything is made at our lab in London. Your personalised formula is designed by our in-house dermatology team (with the collective expertise of dermatologists, GPs, clinical researchers, formulation scientists and pharmacists specialising in dermatology). They decide the ideal balance of science-backed ingredients and strengths for your skin. Then it’s produced in our certified lab. We don’t have bottles sitting on shelves – your personalised formula is made on demand, just for you. It is then delivered to your door in an easily recyclable bottle that keeps it fresh and delivers a precise amount in every pump.

How does the £2.90 trial work?
If you’re new to Dermatica, you can try us for a whole month, for a discounted price of just £2.90. You’ll get a month’s supply of your personalised formula worth £24.99, delivered to your door, along with free, online dermatology check-ins with our team of experts. After your trial you’ll pay the full price plus shipping each month. When you sign up, we’ll ask for your card details but we won’t charge you until your second month. You’re free to cancel before then, or any time after. We do recommend using your formula for at least 3 months to see the results.

How do I use my personalised formula?
Incorporating your personalised formula into your daily skincare routine is easy and in many cases can even simplify the process. In the evening, start by using a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, dirt and SPF from the day. Then apply one or two pumps of your personalised formula to your skin. Let the formula soak in for a few minutes and then apply a gentle moisturiser. While you won’t need to incorporate your personalised formula into your morning routine, it is essential that you use an SPF to protect your skin.

How can I be sure I have Acne?
Acne comes in many forms. You may have noticed whiteheads or blackheads, spots or pimples and even nodules or cysts. At Dermatica, we can help take the guesswork out of your skin changes. With a few carefully selected questions from us and some uploaded photos from you, our Dermatology team can identify if you are experiencing acne symptoms and suggest the formula you will need to tackle your specific skin concerns.
-
Is Acne common?
Absolutely! Acne is one of the most common skin conditions so if you are struggling with your skin at the moment, you are most definitely not alone.
-
Do you treat all types of Acne?
We have lots of formulations available to treat the different types of acne. Many of the symptoms of acne can respond to the treatment we prescribe. However, in some cases, you will need additional treatment, like oral medication. Our clinical team regularly reviews your progress and makes sure you feel confident when you need to speak to your GP.
